Grid Resilience Grant Program (IIJA Section 40101(d) – Preventing Outages and Enhancing the Resilience of the Electric Grid)

The Wyoming Energy Authority received over $8 million in formula funding under IIJA Section 40101(d) and is issuing an RFP to sub-award those funds to eligible entities for grid resiliency and reliability projects. Funding will be used to replace deteriorating infrastructure, improve planning, harden the electric transmission system, mitigate costs to rural customers, and improve public safety through grid improvements. A cost-match is required for project funding.
