HEAR rebates help low- and moderate-income Wisconsin households make their homes more energy efficient by providing rebates for qualifying electrification upgrades including heat pump water heaters, heat pumps for space heating/cooling, electrical panel and wiring upgrades, insulation/air sealing, heat pump clothes dryers, and electric stoves/cooktops/ranges. Rebates are available through IRA Registered Contractors or retail store purchases depending on the equipment type. A single household cannot receive more than $14,000 total in rebate dollars from this program.

- Eligibility
- Gross household annual income must be less than 150% of the Area Median Income (AMI). A household includes all individuals living in the home, regardless of relation. Qualified new or existing, single- and multi-family homes are welcome to participate. Higher income households (>150% AMI) are NOT eligible. Stove/cooktop/range rebates are available only when upgrading from a non-electric appliance.
