Focus on Energy offers cash rebates to offset the cost of installing a qualifying solar electric (photovoltaic) system on a single-family home. The rebate is calculated per kilowatt of installed capacity, up to a maximum amount per household.

- Eligibility
- Applicant must be the property owner or account holder of the electric service at the installation site. Site must receive service from a participating electric utility. Existing and new construction residential properties are eligible. System must be 0.5 kWDC or greater, installed within 135 degrees of due south, with panel tilt between 5–50 degrees, and less than 15% obstacle shading. Equipment must be selected from the Solar Electric Qualified Equipment List.
