LIHEAP Repair and Replacement Program

Provides emergency repair or replacement of unsafe or malfunctioning/non-operable heating and/or cooling systems for eligible low-income homeowners. The cooling component requires a household member who is disabled, age 60 or over, or a child age 5 or younger. The program runs until funds are exhausted.

- Available to homeowners with unsafe or malfunctioning/non-operable heating and/or cooling systems. Income limits are the same as LIEAP (FY2027 monthly limits: $2,550 for 1-person up to $8,385 for 10-person, +$710 per additional person). For cooling unit assistance, household must include a disabled individual, someone age 60 or over, or a child age 5 or younger. Cooling repairs/replacements are not done in winter months.
