Under the Project Pathway, the State of West Virginia solicits individual GHG reduction projects aligned with its Priority Energy Action Plan (PEAP). Eligible project topics include Small Modular Reactors, Geothermal, Hydropower, Natural Gas Carbon Capture Sequestration, Coal Mine Methane Leakage Reduction, Natural Gas and Petroleum Systems Methane Leakage Reduction, and Efficiency Improvements and Electrification in Existing Industrial Facilities. Organizations submit pre-applications through the State, which compiles a consolidated full application to EPA.
