National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Program

South Dakota — state program$4 million in Federal funding available in Fiscal Year 2022, with a total of $29 million through Fiscal Year 2026
A federal program authorized under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (IIJA) that provides funds to states to install DC fast chargers along designated corridors. South Dakota must submit an EV Fast Charging Plan to access these funds, which are intended to build out a statewide network of EV fast chargers connecting to the national network.
