South Carolina — state programRebate amounts based on income eligibility
Provides rebates to income-eligible South Carolina households for home electrification upgrades and appliance purchases, including heat pump water heaters, heat pumps for space heating/cooling, heat pump clothes dryers, electric load service centers, insulation, air sealing, ventilation, electric wiring, and electric kitchen appliances. Rebates are issued to approved contractors and passed on as upfront discounts, or paid directly to participants under the DIY pathway for eligible electric kitchen appliances.

- Only households that make less than 150% of the AMI in their county are eligible. Tenants may participate with written permission from the property owner. Cannot combine with other funding sources (e.g., WAP) for the same individual upgrade.
