The Oregon Department of Energy uses USDA REDA grant funding to pay for 75 percent of the cost of an energy assessment for Oregon agricultural producers and rural small businesses. Assessments inspect buildings, processes, and equipment to measure efficiency and identify energy-saving improvements. Participating businesses fill out an interest form to begin the process.
