Climate Equity and Resilience Through Action (CERTA) COU Weatherization Grant
Oregon — state programno more than $2,000 in incentives per household
The Oregon Department of Energy received $800,000 from the U.S. EPA's Climate Pollution Reduction Grant program (funded by the Inflation Reduction Act) to support existing weatherization programs serving residential customers in Oregon's consumer-owned utility (COU) service areas. Funding is distributed to households for qualifying weatherization measures through five awarded consumer-owned utilities.

- Residential customers in Oregon's consumer-owned utility (COU) service areas, including areas served by municipal electric utilities, consumer-owned utilities, electric cooperatives, and peoples' utility districts. Households must be within the service territories of the five awarded COUs: City of Ashland, Central Electric Cooperative Inc., Emerald City Public Utility District, Umatilla Electric Cooperative Inc., or Wasco Electric Cooperative.
