Clean Sustainable Energy Authority Loan Fund (CSEA)
North Dakota — state programGrants: up to 50% of project cost, minimum $1 million, maximum $10 million per project. Loans: up to 50% of project cost, minimum $10 million.
Supports research, development, and technological advancements through partnerships and financial support for large-scale development and commercialization of projects, processes, activities, and technologies that reduce environmental impacts and increase sustainability of energy production and delivery. Both grants and loans are available through the North Dakota Industrial Commission.

- Investments that result in low-emission advancements leading to increased economic benefits and positive environmental public health benefits; projects that preserve and create clean sustainable energy jobs, wealth, and tax revenues for North Dakota; projects promoting efficient, economic and environmentally sound development and use of North Dakota's energy resources, materials and products. Ineligible uses include business startup capital, working capital for grant awards, advertising/promotional expenses, expenses not in the proposed budget, and expenses incurred prior to application submis
