NYSERDA provides subsidized field demonstration incentives to New York State multifamily building owners to lower the cost of installing through-wall heat pumps, covering material cost, installation cost, and building make-ready work. Demonstrations must be installed by December 31, 2027.

- Eligibility
- New York State multifamily building owners with 5+ dwelling units. Buildings in climate zones 5 or 6 must respond to RFQL 5937 to get qualified. Pre-qualification has closed for buildings in NYC and Westchester County. LMI sites must submit documentation demonstrating installation will not result in net increased housing costs for LMI tenants.
