The State Energy Program provides federal grants to state energy offices from the U.S. Department of Energy's Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE). Nebraska uses these funds, combined with a required annual match of state funds, to support administration, program planning, project and financial management, and to deploy emerging renewable energy and energy efficiency technologies.
