In July 2024, the EPA awarded $307 million to DWEE to implement selected measures from Nebraska's Priority Climate Action Plan (PCAP). DWEE has finalized its workplan and is developing programs covering energy efficiency, advanced livestock waste management, sustainable agriculture incentives, and benefits to low-income and underserved communities.
