ONE RED - Opportunity for Nebraska: Reducing Emissions & Decarbonization

Nebraska — state program$3 million
Nebraska's ONE RED program develops plans and programs to leverage federal funding to reduce harmful air pollutant emissions. DWEE received a $3 million Climate Pollution Reduction Planning Grant from the U.S. EPA in August 2023 to develop Nebraska's first state-wide climate action plans to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The program identifies voluntary measures and financial incentive programs for short-term and long-term emissions reductions across all economic sectors.
