ONE RED Climate Pollution Reduction Planning Grant

In August 2023, DWEE received a $3 million Climate Pollution Reduction Planning Grant from the U.S. EPA to develop plans to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and other harmful air pollutants in Nebraska. Through this award, DWEE consulted with stakeholders to develop a Priority Climate Action Plan (PCAP) and is now developing a Comprehensive Action Plan (CAP) proposing voluntary measures and financial incentives.
