Statewide low-interest loans offered by the Nebraska Department of Water, Energy, and Environment (DWEE) through participating Nebraska banks, savings institutions, and credit unions for home, building, or system energy improvements. Simple interest rates are 5%, 3.5%, or less. Pre-qualified projects can be financed for up to 15 years (or 5 years for appliances); other project terms range from 3 to 10 years depending on loan category.

- Individuals, sole proprietors, businesses, manufacturers, institutions, non-profits, multi-family buildings, agricultural/farm and ranch operations (must produce $1,000+ of agricultural products per calendar year), local governments and political subdivisions (except state government), public school districts, and telecommunications projects. Must meet lender credit requirements. U.S. citizenship attestation required for individuals and sole proprietors.
