A sub-grant program administered by Montana DEQ under the federal Bipartisan Infrastructure Law Section 40101(d) Grid Resilience State and Tribal Formula Grant Program. It funds qualifying grid resiliency and reliability investments such as weatherization, fire-resistant technologies, undergrounding of electrical equipment, vegetation management, microgrids, and hardening of power lines and substations. A second round of funding is planned for release in June 2026.
