Approximately $10.34 million is available to support projects that improve the reliability and resilience of Montana's electric grid, including grid hardening, fire-prevention systems, vegetation management, undergrounding electrical equipment, and deploying distributed energy resources or microgrids.

- Electric Grid Operators, Electricity Storage Operators, Electricity Generators, Transmission Owners or Operators, Distribution Providers, and Fuel Suppliers. Awardees are required to provide 100% cost share for large utilities, or 33% for eligible small utilities, plus a 15.5% state cost share.
