A loan participation program administered by the Rural Finance Authority (RFA) to assist eligible Minnesota farmers in financing capital improvements to their farming operations, including land, buildings, permanent structures, equipment affixed to land or structures, and wind energy conversion facilities with an output capacity of one megawatt or less. The RFA participates alongside a local lender, offering an affordable fixed interest rate for a fixed period.

- Eligibility
- The borrower must be a Minnesota resident, a Minnesota domestic family farm corporation, or a family farm partnership. The borrower or one of the borrowers must be the principal operator of the farm. The borrower may not have a total net worth which exceeds $1,069,000 in 2026 (indexed annually for inflation). There is a $50.00 non-refundable application fee on all loans.
