Supports whole-home energy efficiency upgrades such as insulation, air sealing, heating and cooling systems, and other improvements that reduce overall energy use. Rebate amounts are based on the modeled energy savings achieved through the project. Michigan received $105.7 million in federal funding allocated to HOMES.

- Michigan homeowners, including both single-family and multi-family residences. Renters may also qualify for certain rebates with landlord participation. EGLE intends to prioritize funding for low- and middle-income households as determined by area median income (AMI). Eligible rebate work must be performed by an approved MiHER Registered Contractor.
