Solar Massachusetts Renewable Target (SMART) Program

The SMART Program is a solar incentive program administered by CLEAResult on behalf of three participating electric distribution companies (Eversource, National Grid, and Unitil) and overseen by DOER. Qualified Solar Tariff Generation Units receive a Statement of Qualification to participate and earn compensation, including through Alternative On-bill Credits for eligible standalone systems.
