Near-Term Resource Multiplier

A multiplier incentive under the Clean Peak Energy Standard that increases the number of Clean Peak Energy Certificates (CPECs) generated by eligible near-term clean peak resources. Resources must be standalone energy storage (QESS) serving no on-site load other than parasitic/station load, must not have received a Statement of Qualification on or before January 1, 2025, must have a Commercial Operation Date before January 1, 2027, and must not also receive the Distribution Circuit Multiplier.
