MDPACE is a statewide Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE) program that provides private upfront financing for commercial property owners to fund energy efficiency, renewable energy, water efficiency, resiliency, and environmental remediation improvements. Repayment is collected through annual or semi-annual surcharges on the property's tax bill over a 20+ year period, with no upfront costs to the property owner.

- Eligibility
- Commercial property owners in participating Maryland localities (counties that have adopted enabling C-PACE legislation and signed a Locality Agreement with the Maryland Clean Energy Center). Qualifying property types include office, retail, hospitality, multifamily, senior housing, assisted living, healthcare, faith-based, agricultural, industrial, warehouse, self-storage, nonprofit, and specialty use.
