C-PACE is a financing mechanism for energy efficiency, renewable energy, water conservation, resiliency, and environmental remediation measures in commercial buildings with no up-front cost. Loans are treated as a property tax assessment on the property and repaid through property tax bills. Loan terms are typically 10–20 years in length.
