The Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA) provides federal grant funds for the completion of energy audits and the improvement of lighting energy efficiency at multifamily housing properties with 20 or more units. Grant funding covers qualifying energy efficiency audits and lighting energy efficiency improvements (LED, CFL, or Halogen bulb replacements). Participants must provide 50% cost share, though awardees implementing audit-recommended upgrades may be reimbursed for their cost share.
