ComEd Make-Ready Rebate (2026: LIC/EIEC only)

Grantya researchSee programDeadline: 2026 reservations LIC/EIEC-only; funds until exhausted or Dec 31, 2026 program-term end
2026: RESERVATIONS LIMITED TO LIC/EIEC COMMUNITIES. ComEd reopened Make-Ready reservations in Feb 2026, but for the 2026 program year only projects located in a Low-Income Community / Equity Investment Eligible Community (LIC/EIEC) are eligible for a rebate reservation — projects outside LIC/EIEC are NOT eligible to reserve funds in 2026. Reserved funds are held 6 months or until Dec 31, 2026 (whichever is first); program funds run until exhausted or the Dec 31, 2026 program-term end. Rebate amounts: Level 2 $5,333–$8,000/port (max $80K); DCFC $667–$1,000/kW (max $500K), higher rates for LI/EIEC. For non-LIC/EIEC clients, pursue federal 30C (closes 6/30/2026) and watch for CEJA/NEVI round reopenings instead.

2026 program year: reservations are LIC/EIEC-only — projects outside a Low-Income/Equity Investment Eligible Community cannot reserve 2026 funds. DO NOT pitch as broadly available. Structure: L2 base $5,333/port (max 10); L2 LI/EIEC $8,000/port; DCFC base $667/kW; DCFC LI/EIEC $1,000/kW; annual cap $1M/premises. Funds held 6 months per reservation or until Dec 31, 2026. For non-LIC/EIEC clients, lead with federal 30C ($100K/charger, closes 6/30/2026) and watch for CEJA Round 4 / NEVI Round 4 reopenings (both currently closed).
