- HVAC rebates are prescriptive — use the ComEd rebate catalog to find exact amounts by equipment type and efficiency rating. Stackable with 179D deduction and C-PACE financing. High-efficiency heat pumps qualify for the highest rebate tiers. This program is separate from and stackable with the Smart Ideas custom efficiency track. ENHANCED INCENTIVE DEADLINES (facilities <500 kW): the private-sector 30% bonus tier CLOSED April 30, 2026. STILL AVAILABLE: private-sector 20% bonus — submit final application + invoices by Sept 30, 2026 (additional incentive capped $20,000 per customer electric choice ID); public-facility 40% bonus by Sept 30, 2026.
