Eligibility: Water heaters with input capacity ≤ 75 MBTUH must be natural gas storage water heaters with an EF ≥ 0.67, tank size ≤ 55 gallons and must meet ENERGY STAR® standards. Water heaters with input capacity > 75 MBTUH must be natural gas storage water heaters with a TE ≥ 88% and must meet ENERGY STAR® standards. Indirect and instantaneous (tankless) water heaters are not eligible.
