Nicor Gas offers a rebate per window for installation of ENERGY STAR certified low-e storm window inserts by a program-approved contractor. Each home is eligible for up to 10 windows for a maximum rebate of $1,000.

- Existing windows can be either single-pane or double-pane with clear glass; frame can be metal, vinyl, or wood. Insert must be ENERGY STAR certified and meet ENERGY STAR storm window key product criteria (emissivity ≤0.22 and solar transmission >0.55 in Rockford, Chicago and Springfield climate zones). Each home eligible for up to 10 windows. Installation must be performed by an approved contractor.
