- Must be installed as an energy conservation measure on an existing HVAC system. Only CO2 sensors qualify. Must be installed in a facility with natural gas space heating equipment. Sensors installed as part of new facility construction are not eligible. Facilities with terminal reheat systems are not eligible. DCV on packaged single-zone rooftop units with functioning economizers is not eligible.
