Expands HSA eligibility and benefits: telehealth/remote care services can be received before meeting a high-deductible health plan deductible without losing HSA contribution eligibility (permanent for plan years starting on or after Jan. 1, 2025); bronze and catastrophic health plans become HSA-compatible starting Jan. 1, 2026; and individuals enrolled in certain direct primary care (DPC) arrangements may contribute to and use HSA funds for DPC fees starting Jan. 1, 2026.
