A $14 million revolving loan fund administered by the Illinois Finance Authority (IFA) and capitalized through a U.S. Department of Energy grant. It provides Bridge Loans (short-term interim financing for entities awaiting Direct Pay tax credits, ITCs, RECs, or other incentives) and Co-Lending/Participation Loans to support longer-term project financing for energy efficiency and clean energy projects in Illinois. Eligible projects include solar, battery storage, geothermal, energy efficiency, and other clean energy upgrades in commercial buildings (including multifamily with 5+ units) that have undergone a qualified energy audit; new construction is not eligible.
