KIUC Solar Water Heater Loan Program
Hawaii — state program$1,500 rebate on the new solar water heater
KIUC partners with Gather Federal Credit Union to offer interest-free loans to customers replacing their existing electric water heater with a solar water heating system, or replacing an existing non-functional solar water heater. Participants pay only the principal over five years while KIUC pays the interest. A $1,500 rebate on the new solar water heater is also included.
