High Electrification and Appliance Rebates (HEAR)
Hawaii — state programup to 100% of the eligible project cost (below 80% AMI); up to 50% of the eligible project cost (80%–150% AMI)
The HEAR pathway provides income-qualified rebates to Hawaiʻi residents who purchase and install qualified electrification appliances and materials, including ENERGY STAR-certified heat pumps, heat pump water heaters, electric induction stoves, electrical panel and wiring upgrades, and insulation/air sealing. Households below 80% AMI may qualify for up to 100% of eligible project cost; households between 80%–150% AMI may qualify for up to 50%.
