High Efficiency Electric Home Rebates (HEEHR)
Hawaii — state programup to 100% of the eligible project cost (below 80% AMI); up to 50% of the eligible project cost (80%–150% AMI)
Provides income-qualified rebates to Hawaiʻi residents who purchase and install qualified electrification appliances and/or materials, including ENERGY STAR-certified heat pumps, heat pump water heaters, electric induction stoves, heat pump dryers, electrical panel/wiring upgrades, and insulation/air sealing. Households below 80% AMI may qualify for up to 100% of eligible project cost; households between 80%–150% AMI may qualify for up to 50%.

- Eligibility
- Hawaiʻi residents with total household income under 150% Area Median Income (AMI). Projects must be ENERGY STAR certified and completed by a participating contractor. Categorical eligibility accepted via Medicaid, SNAP, Head Start, Lifeline, FDPIR, National School Lunch Program, Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS, SSI, Public Housing, and potentially WIC.
