Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) Program

The EECBG Program assists states, local governments, and Tribes in implementing strategies to reduce energy use, lower fossil fuel emissions, and improve energy efficiency. Georgia received $2.9 million to disperse to local governments throughout the state via competitive funding targeted towards small and disadvantaged communities. Eligible projects follow GEFA-selected Blueprints covering energy planning, energy efficiency, renewable energy, transportation electrification, clean energy finance, and workforce development.
