A free statewide program that helps low-income homeowners and renters cut energy bills by weatherproofing and improving the energy efficiency of their homes. Trained professionals assess the home and install measures such as air sealing, insulation, weather-stripping, and duct sealing — all at no cost to the participant. Many households have cut their energy bills by 30 to 50 percent.

Eligibility
Eligibility is based on household size and household income. Income limits: 1 person $30,120; 2 persons $40,880; 3 persons $51,640; 4 persons $62,400; 5 persons $73,160; 6 persons $83,920; 7 persons $94,680; 8 persons $105,440; add $10,280 for each additional person. Homeowners and renters qualify. Applicants not served within 12 months must reapply annually to verify income eligibility.
