C-PACE New Construction Financing
Connecticut — state programUp to 35 percent of the Total Eligible Construction Costs (TECC) for terms up to 25 years
Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE) financing for new construction, repositioning, and gut renovation projects in Connecticut. Developers and owners can use this financing as part of their capital stack to lower weighted average cost of capital or increase total available capital for more efficient, higher-performing buildings. Repayment is through an assessment placed on the property.

- Developers and owners of new commercial and industrial properties, repositioning, and gut renovation projects in Connecticut. Eligible projects must demonstrate designed energy performance through a whole-building energy model; multifamily properties may use the HERS Index. All-electric, net-zero buildings or projects incorporating bonus technologies (EV charging stations, battery storage systems, high-efficiency heat pumps, heat pump water heaters, fuel cells, and solar PV systems) are eligible for the maximum financing amount.
