PG&E offers a rebate to residential customers for purchasing and installing eligible EV charging equipment at home. A standard rebate and an income-based 'Rebate Plus Option' are available. Each customer household is eligible to receive only one rebate.

- Residential PG&E electric customers who have not previously participated in PG&E's Empower EV Program or Residential Charging Solutions. Each household (identified by its individual residential PG&E Electric Service Agreement ID) is eligible for only one rebate. The Rebate Plus Option requires meeting specific income-based criteria. A licensed California electrician must perform all installations.
