PG&E offers rebates to eligible residential and business customers in high fire-threat areas for the purchase of qualified portable generators or portable batteries. The base rebate is up to $300 per qualified customer account, with an additional $200 available for CARE or FERA program participants.

- Must have an active residential or business PG&E account AND be located in Tier 2 or 3 High Fire-Threat Districts (HFTD), OR located in a High Fire Risk Area (HFRA), OR serviced by an Enhanced Power Safety Settings (EPSS) circuit. Rebates limited to one per customer account. Applications must be submitted within 12 months from purchase date or by December 31, 2026, whichever is sooner. Customer must provide proof of purchase and proof of delivery.
