PG&E's Energy Savings Assistance Program provides free home energy efficiency upgrades to income-qualified renters and homeowners. Eligible participants receive no-cost upgrades and repairs to appliances such as heat pump water heaters, furnaces, lighting, and refrigerators to improve comfort, health, safety, and energy savings.

- Renters and homeowners who live in a house, mobile home, or apartment that is at least five years old and whose household income meets program guidelines (before taxes). Proof of income required, or proof of participation in qualifying programs (e.g., CalFresh/SNAP, LIHEAP, Medicaid/MediCal, SSI, TANF, WIC, National School Lunch Program, Head Start Income Eligible (Tribal Only), Healthy Families Category A & B, Bureau of Indian Affairs General Assistance).
