Rural Power System Upgrade (RPSU) Program

The RPSU Program funds powerhouse upgrade projects that replace outdated, inefficient mechanical systems with new electronically controlled generator sets. New powerhouses contain generators of multiple sizes to optimize fuel efficiency at varying demand levels. AEA also installs remote monitoring systems to support operators and enable remote technical assistance.
