The REF Program provides competitive grant funding for qualifying renewable energy projects across Alaska, including feasibility studies, engineering and design, and construction activities. It is designed to fund projects that produce cost-effective renewable energy for heat and power, benefiting Alaskans statewide. Since inception, 371 REF grants have been awarded totaling $351 million.
