Provides weatherization assistance to low-income households in all 67 Alabama counties by improving the energy efficiency of their homes. Funded by the U.S. Department of Energy and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, it is delivered through local community action agencies. Health and safety checks are also performed on the home.

- Applicant's income must not exceed 200% of the federally established poverty level. Particularly targets the elderly, people with disabilities, and families with children. Participants must agree to minor alterations to their homes based on an assessment and energy audit.
